I am truly captivated by the remarkable capabilities of artificial intelligence within the realm of technology. These abilities are no less significant than the genius we’ve witnessed in the collective intellect of Al-Farahidi, which was embodied in his ‘Kitab al-Ain’, or the brilliance of administration and organization seen in Wasabi’s miraculous book. Similarly, we’ve seen this same genius reflected in the work of Ahmad the Wonder, who, despite being blind, crafted his necessities with unparalleled skill.
It is essential to recognize that in every era, there emerges something truly remarkable, something that captivates the hearts and minds of people, even if it is followed in ways that deviate from the norm. Such innovations are often enveloped in a sense of sanctity—a sanctity rooted in knowledge, the departure from conventional thinking, and the foresight to anticipate the future. These wonders provide a much-needed distraction from the pains of life, no matter how great, and without them, life would appear dull, monotonous, and as lifeless as death itself, stifling the functions of human senses and the tasks of the human mind.
What is perhaps most extraordinary about our current era is how the various forms of genius and exceptional discoveries, which we’ve read about in history books and heard recounted by storytellers, have converged into a single phenomenon: artificial intelligence. AI stands as one of the true wonders of our technological age, a miraculous outcome of human experience and the cumulative knowledge of humanity.
One of the most significant aspects of this technological genius is AI’s absolute ability to engage in deep learning and, more importantly, its capacity for self-evolution that surpasses the original context set by programmers and technology creators. It’s crucial to note that the satisfaction programmers and technology makers experience when AI systems exceed their initial programming is akin to the joy a teacher feels when a student surpasses their expectations. This, in itself, is the greatest reward any teacher can receive from a pupil.
As remarkable as artificial intelligence appears today, it is still just the beginning—a mere flutter of wings before taking flight, a first step on a long journey of evolution and human civilization. This stage mirrors the imaginative phase that preceded all the technology we now take for granted, laying the groundwork for the reality we live in today. Human progress will continue as long as humanity persists in creating and nurturing imagination.
This concept brings to mind stories like ‘Alice in Wonderland’, which paved the way for Einstein’s theory of relativity—a theory that continues to evolve with the contributions of physicists and mathematicians. Similarly, other imaginative tales, such as the story of Pygmalion’s glasses, have given rise to augmented and virtual reality glasses, 3D glasses, and other groundbreaking innovations.
The genius of artificial intelligence is nothing less than a manifestation of the human mind’s brilliance, skillfully crafting the intricate details of technology to elevate the present and future of humanity. AI represents one of the greatest expressions of immortality that humanity has ever dreamed of throughout its long history of accumulated knowledge. By immortality, I don’t refer to a literal eternal life, but rather the lasting impact on humanity and the life we lead until the day we meet our Creator, when everything in the universe ceases to exist by His command.
And with that, there is more to discuss.
